New Sales and Technical Manager for the Central America, Andean Pact and the Caribbean
Americas – Hubbard is very pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Jose Castilletti as Sales and Technical Manager for Central American, Andean Pact, and the Caribbeans. Dr Jose Castilletti has gradually taken over from Dr Arnoldo Ruiz, who will retire at the end of 2024.
Dr. José Castilletti comes to us with great knowledge and experience in the poultry sector. José graduated from the Central University of Venezuela as a Veterinarian. He has a 28 year career inside the poultry industry. José worked for 22 years at Protinal, a large broiler integration in the country. He continued his career in the Ebenezer Group, working with commercial broilers and laying hens 6 years.
José’s experience and knowledge were acquired through various roles as manager and director in both these integrations where his responsibilities included grandparent, broiler breeder, hatchery and feed mill management.
At Hubbard, Jose will be responsible to continue to grow and support our presence in the region. This includes all products ranging from the Efficiency Plus grandparent and parent stock and undertaking a commercial and technical role for Hubbard in the Premium segment. He is highly respected in the industry, been ever present in the regional poultry sector and his expertise will be a great asset to Hubbard as we continue our growth in the region.
Dr Arnoldo Ruiz has stepped into a part time role since July 1st to ensure a smooth transition and support for the remainder of this calendar year. Arnoldo needs no introduction and has been an outstanding ambassador, professional and friend at Hubbard for many years.
After returning from Canada in the late 90’s, he joined Shaver, which became part of the Hubbard group in 1997. For the past 27 years he has served as Commercial and Technical Manager for the Latin American region.
More recently Arnoldo has been instrumental in the introduction of the new Hubbard Efficiency Plus breed, which has resulted in additional grandparent businesses in Venezuela, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico.
With his expertise in the Premium sector, he is one of the most knowledgeable and leading figures in this segment in the Latin American market. He has attended countless events and seminars over the years from his home base in Costa Rica. We all will miss Arnoldo and sincerely thank him for his loyal and dedicated service to our company.
